February 2015

February brought the end of the basketball season.  All three kids had fun and their teams finished around .500.  Cole went on a field trip to the Towne Creek Indian Mounds and brought along a camera to document the trip.  He loves to take pictures, every chance he gets whether it is on Mommy and Daddy's big camera or on his iPod.  Drew earned some advancements in boy scouts.  Dan was officially installed as an assistant scoutmaster in Drew's Boy Scout troop.  Cole had his final pinewood derby.  His car was a slice of pizza, with pepperoni and sausage.  The pepperoni were painted on and the sausage were actually tungsten putty painted brown to get the car up to the appropriate weight.  We also had some winter weather which is somewhat unusual.  We usually see some snow about every other year.  THis year we had 3-4 times where it snowed, but only 2 where we had any accumulation.  The kids absolutely love playing in the snow no matter how much we get.
