A lot has transpired since the last post and this one will be a little catch up with another one coming shortly behind it. Kinsey celebrated Dr. Suess's birthday by dressing up as Thing 1. She enjoyed that. She also had Shannon braid her hair at night and leave it in overnight and take it out in the morning so her hair has a nice wave to it as seen in the first picture below.
Cole has been taking drum lessons with "Uncle Shell." each week after our Wednesday night fellowship program at church. He is really a natural but he isn't particularly interested in practicing. Reminds me of someone I knew when i was young....
Kinsey had been telling us that she has a loose tooth for a while. Most of her friends had already lost a tooth or two so she was ready to lose her first tooth. One night during dinner at my parents house she took a bite of food and out came her tooth! No fuss and no muss. I would recommend losing your first tooth that way to every child, haha.
In case you were wondering, my dad took home the top prize in our Hamilton family bracket challenge. We all filled out a bracket for the NCAA tournament and the boys helped me keep score as we went through all of the game. He just beat out Shannon to win the milk shake from Cook-Out!
Cole is having a blast on his bike riding all over the yard, to church and up and down the street on occasion. He also used the of pieces of the old sign for our development to be his ramp going up and down the steps onto and off of the deck. This is much safer than his original plan to just walk his bike up the step and ride it down the steps!
The boys wanted to take advantage of the late winter weather so they bunked their beds. That isn't advisable during the warmer months because the person who gets to sleep on the top bunk will roast! Cole is sleeping on the top bunk and Drew is taking the bottom.
