We just had our first winter storm of 2010. We got plenty of ice and sleet but not much snow. Drew wanted to make a slush-man but by the time it stopped raining the temperature had dropped and everything was frozen solid. Chruch has been canceled tomorrow, so we have lined up a PJ day with movies and games. Should be fun. Dan might do the taxes also, we will see. Dan went to play football with some of his crazy friends and had a good time. We have been enjoying a little downtime with fewer kids activities during the winter. It will get cranked up again in the spring with baseball and softball.
On to the obligatory cute kids stories. Cole, when asked what he wanted to be when he grew up said a construction worker man, but only after he was done with cub scouts. (he isn't even old enough to start cub scouts yet!) When he was eating a new soup that Shannon had made with noodles and vegetables he said, I like the noodles but I don't like the drink. (broth hehe) Cole with a third story... he said he was going to do something "quick as a scramled egg" Not quite sure what that means but it was funny. I updated the slideshow to have our January pictures, enjoy!
